Elongated Man & Faith custom

This is a recent JLA duo I made using an Elongated Man ($4 sale!) and a JSA Hawkgirl as the bases. After smoothing them both over with resin, I sculpted new hair & a collar for Faith & new gloves & boots for EM. Once that had dried and was sanded, I painted them up and sealed them with Dullcote. The Elongated Man costume is from the 80's & 90's and Faith's was her one and only.

Batgirl repaint sequence

Here's a progression photo of a recent Batgirl repaint I did. The first image is the original Mattel figure before I started the repaint. The second photo is the new black paint coat and the last photo is the final repaint + sealer. As I stated earlier, it's amazing what 2 new colors can do.

Ultra Pop! flyer

Next month my buddy Paulie is opening his store, ULTRA POP!, in Louisville and he needed some flyers to promote the opening. I really like the way this come out even though I didn't have a lot of time to get it done. It was created on Adobe Illustrator and Dave helped with the copy.

Justice Lords customs

This is a recent set of custom Justice Lords that I created even though they never appeared in the animated series. I'll probably continue to do more of them as they pop into my head. (L to R) Justice Lord Atom, Aquaman & The Red Tornado.

VTES: Lords of The Night

This is a new set of Vampire: The Eternal Struggle card art I painted for White Wolf's "Lord's of The Night" edition. That's me in the upper left, the guy looking through the shades is Cat from Universal Comics in Studio City. The lovely young lady is Jennifer from Disney and the sinister knife-enthusiast is my neighbor, Tim. The medium is watercolor mixed with liquid acrylics and Dr. Marten dyes.

A trip to San Francisco

This is a lovely trip Dave and I took last weekend to San Francisco. We got to visit the new Chronicle Books building, hang out with friends at the DeYoung museum, eat, shop and walked through virtually every neighborhood. Love it.
